The talented chess players of BVM (USN) excelled in sub-junior district chess championship, organized by Ludhiana District Chess Association at Shri Ram Universal School, Sarabha Nagar on 13th and 14th July, 2019. Pratham Kohli of class IX won accolades for the school by clinching II position in Under-15 category. Chess Champions of BVM also displayed their mental alertness and intelligence in another Chess Championship conducted by ‘Kumon Chess Academy” on 13th June, 2019. Shivansh (Under -11) and Shivani (Under-15) grabbed I and III prize respectively.
Principal Mrs. Bandana Sethi congratulated the winners and their coach Mr. Baljeet Singh Gill for their hard work and arduous efforts. She motivated other students to participate whole heartedly in games as this inculcates the positive spirit of sportsmanship to meet challenges in their life ahead.
